Responsibilities

Our top-tier Customer Service Advocates deliver on our promise of creating an exceptional customer experience by:

  • Taking care of customer inquiries, concerns, suggestions, complaints, and compliments – lots of compliments – using a variety of tools and systems (these inquiries come to us over the phone, by email, via chat, and even using popular social media channels);
  • Effectively listening to and acknowledging our customers' needs in order to recommend the kind of solution that is likely to knock their socks off;
  • Providing real-time assistance for customers trying out their new products for the first time or working through some troubleshooting steps; and, most importantly, by
  • Creating personal emotional connections with our customers so that each one feels happier for having reached out to us.

Qualifications

We look for employees who love what they do and possess these skills and abilities:

 

  • Share our intense passion for creating an exceptional customer experience
  • Not be afraid of helping us continually improve our policies, processes, and capabilities
  • Understand the importance of coming to work on time (unlike, say, the cable guy, who needs a 4-hour window)
  • Easily maneuver through our computer systems, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Can work any shift during our hours of operation: 6am - 8pm, 7 days a week, 365 days a year)
  • Technical support experience is preferred.
  • Has a personal passion for grilling, or willing to expand their grilling knowledge through training.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED
  • Just says no to drugs (must be able to pass a drug screening and background check)
  • Commit to two weeks of training and won't flake out halfway through.
